Wado Ryu Founder Otsuka Hironori Karate Legend

Wado Ryu is a skilful martial art that combines the Jujutsu of the ancient Japanese martial art of Shinto Yoshin Ryu with the excellent attacking methods of Ryukyu Karate. It was created in 1934 by the first generation head, Hironori Otsuka, and, along with Shotokan Ryu, Goju Ryu, Shito Ryu,can be counted as one of the four great traditional styles of Karate Do. Coming into1926, Hironori Otsuka studied under Kenwa Mabuni and Choki Motobu,implementing this into Karate research.
